Welcome to the Veterans Memorial Park located along Canal Street and the scenic Housatonic River. Veterans Memorial Park hosts many community events throughout the year including carnivals, food truck festivals, family movie nights, fairs, Celebrate Shelton events, Shelton Day and fireworks.
The Veterans Memorial Park was founded to recognize and honor the men and women who have served our country in the military services. The City of Shelton especially pays homage to those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. By establishing the Veterans Memorial Committee, the City of Shelton is devoted to continuing to ensure that the men and women of our military service are never forgotten. We thank you for visiting.
